Meta templates

Checking the status of approved templates and understanding why one of them does not show up in a campaign.

On the Official API, writing to someone first requires a template approved by Meta. The library shows the status of each one.

The statuses

  • Approved — it can be used in a campaign.
  • Under review — Meta has not answered yet; it does not show up in a campaign.
  • Rejected — it stays on the list with the reason.

Sync before building the campaignApproval happens on Meta's side and Heyoo reads the state from there. If you have just been approved, syncing brings the change through immediately.

An approved template you edit goes back under review and cannot be used until it is approved again. Never edit one the day before a broadcast.
