A QR session is the pairing between one phone and Heyoo. It is not a new account: it is the same WhatsApp from that device, mirrored.

The single-phone trap

The QR cannot be scanned on the same deviceIf you open Heyoo on your phone and try to scan the QR with the WhatsApp on that same phone, it does not work: the camera has to point at another screen. Use the panel on a computer to show the QR, or a second device.

What you can do from the app

  • See the status of each session — connected or dropped.
  • Reconnect when it drops.
  • Rename the session (the name becomes a badge on that number's conversations).
  • Disconnect and remove.
